Personalized healthcare from a membership based primary care provider

You shouldn’t have to deal with rushed visits, long waits, and doctors who barely remember your name. That’s why I started Yakima Men’s Clinic — a direct primary care clinic designed to give you expert care without the typical headaches of the healthcare system.

Whether you need help managing a chronic condition, want to stay on top of preventative care, or are looking for a direct primary care provider, I’m here to offer a patient-focused approach that actually works for you.

You get science-backed healthcare and a doctor who takes the time to listen — without the usual insurance hassles or endless waiting rooms. That’s the advantage of choosing a direct primary care clinic like mine.

Women and children are welcome

While Yakima Men’s Clinic focuses on men’s health, I also see women and children! I named the clinic Yakima Men’s Clinic so that men would feel that they had a place to go that caters to them and their needs. However, I also happily see women and children.

How my primary care services work

At Yakima Men’s Clinic, I focus on a proactive, preventative approach to your health. That means I don’t just treat symptoms — I help you build lasting health with the support of a trusted direct primary care provider.

FAQ:

Initially I accepted Premera, Regence, and Medicare.

For those patients who established care with me with those medical plans, I continue to take their insurance.

And, I am still accepting new Medicare patients, since the government does not allow me to charge Medicare patients a cash pay membership.

However, in order to keep my patient panel small, so that I can provide a premium service, I am not taking new insurance patients except for Medicare patients.

My philosophy is that health is holistic. The doctor who manages your testosterone replacement, weight loss, or ADHD treatment should understand your entire health history and goals—not just one condition. That’s the role of a primary care physician.

For example: if you’re on testosterone therapy and develop side effects like acne, high blood pressure, or even a blood clot, do you really want your TRT doctor to say, “You’ll need to see your primary care doctor for that”—when the issue is directly related to the testosterone? Having the same doctor oversee both the treatment and the side effects makes a huge difference in safety and continuity of care.

That’s why:

  • For my patients on testosterone replacement, I am also their primary care doctor.

  • For my patients on weight loss programs, I am also their primary care doctor.

  • For my patients with ADHD, I am their primary care doctor.

Because there’s more to being a doctor than prescribing a single medication. Your doctor should know you—your health history, your goals, and how all the pieces fit together—to give you the safest and most effective care possible.

The best primary care doctor is someone who:

  • Spends time with you. You don’t want a doctor who’s in and out in 10 minutes—you want someone who listens, asks questions, and actually gets to know you.
That’s why at Yakima Men’s Clinic, I structure visits to be thorough, not rushed. I left the traditional system because I wanted more time with patients, not less.

  • Has broad medical knowledge. Family medicine physicians (MDs) are trained across the full spectrum of health, seeing thousands of patients during residency. Nurse practitioners and physician assistants can also provide excellent care, but MD training offers an unmatched depth and breadth of experience.
I completed my residency at Swedish Family Medicine in Seattle, where I cared for thousands of patients across every age and condition—giving me the breadth of training I now bring to Yakima. I have also worked across the full spectrum of family medicine: on the OB ward delivering babies, on the inpatient service caring for hospitalized patients in Washington, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah, and in the emergency room in Roswell, NM and Toppenish, WA. Each medical setting gave me experiences and perspectives unique to that environment, which I carry into my work today.

  • Balances experience with up-to-date knowledge. Ideally, your doctor isn’t brand new—but also isn’t so far removed from training that their knowledge is outdated. You want a doctor who is experienced and trained in modern, evidence-based medicine.
I’m in that “sweet spot”—experienced from years of work in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine, but young and current enough to be trained in the latest best practices.

  • Is passionate about what they do. Passion shows in the way your doctor approaches problems, explains options, and works alongside you to meet your goals.
I’m passionate about men’s health, cardiometabolic optimization, and helping people live longer, healthier lives—so much so that I built Yakima Men’s Clinic from the ground up to focus on exactly that.

  • Knows the local area and specialists. A great primary care doctor doesn’t just know medicine—they know the community.
I’ve made Yakima my home and I’ve worked for Memorial, Astria, and Community Health of Central Washington. I am part of the Yakima County Medical Society and the Washington State Medical Association. I’ve had dozens of local doctors over to my house, and I’ve worked with so many of them across different health settings. In my phone contacts I have a local general surgeon, gastroenterologist, urologist, ENT surgeon, neurosurgeon, rheumatologist, and probably more that I haven’t thought of. And, I trained on the West Side, so if we need to seek care there I know what resources are available there.

  • Cares about you as a person. Compassion, integrity, and a genuine interest in your wellbeing matter just as much as medical expertise.
How can you have compassion for someone if your main goal is to get them out of your office within 10 minutes? At Yakima Men’s Clinic we build a long term relationship built on longer in person visits and continuing communication via text messages after the visit is over. As I get to know you, I get to know your health goals and the challenges you face. This collaborative approach fosters compassion and empathy.
